Fifth edition of the FMCG Summit in Skopje - the biggest event in the trade sector in Macedonia. On May 16, the trade magazine InStore organizes the largest regional conference for trade with fast moving consumer goods. Matthew Brown is the owner of the London creative agency Echochamber , which since its founding in 1999 has been following innovations in world’s trading markets and the evolution of consumer trends. He is a regular keynote speaker at global retail conferences. He was a guest speaker at the Anuga food show. Echochamber points to global examples of good practice and offers creative analysis to customers in all spheres of commerce, helping them develop or adapt to world standards based on the most significant consumer trends.

Dragisha Ristovski (D.R. Gilbert) has over 25 years of practical experience in a variety of positions such as Sales Executive and General Manager. He started working as a business coach more than 15 years ago and, today, his expertise filed covers direct sales, negotiations, motivation, and employee leadership. He is the author of 15 books, amongst which the bestseller The losers are those who never try. Dragisha is the founder and manager of Gilbert Centar Group-a d.o.o., D.R. Gilbert Consulting and HR Professional Solution. He works as a permanent Sales Advisor in several renowned companies throughout the region. So far, he has founded 3 academies; one for commercial communications, one for managerial skills, whereas last year was established the Academy for business skills and knowledge. Dragisha is one of the founders of the Lyceum system which created an innovative software application containing a singular metric system of the competences of the employees in the sales and the sales management domain. Besides the Academies, he is the creator of 11 additional education and business skills programs. Furthermore, he is the initiator of the Regional Sales Strategy Conference. In the course of his career, he has delivered more than 3 000 trainings, seminars, and lectures in all the countries of the Former Yugoslavia, all of which have been attended by more than 60 000 people.

Nikola Baroli was born, and grew up, in Belgrade. After obtaining his education in the USA and Serbia, he began his career with Procter & Gamble, firstly in Romania, and later on in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia where he was in charge of the distribution logistics development process. After 4 years, he transferred to Oriflame, a Swedish beauty brand; where he spent 8 years at the post of Operations Manager and he went on to occupy the post of General Manager responsible for Serbia and the Former Yugoslavia countries. In 2017, he joined Orbico, Europe’s leading distributor and supply chain management company, where he holds the post of General Manager of the branch office in Macedonia. Nicola’s guiding maxim is: ‘Employees are a company’s greatest asset’. Having this in mind, he continually strives to develop and motivate his teams through providing his employees with equal opportunities to show their skills and competence.

Patrik Zupančič has over 25 years’ professional experience in the domain of sales, 11 of which spent on leading positions in the field of sales and commerce at the international company Reckitt Benckiser Adriatic which encompasses world-famous brands such as Finish, Vanish, Airwick, Cillit, Durex, Scholl, Strepsils, etc. He occupied, for 2 years, the post of Manager of the Sportina Slovenija regional retail and wholesale market chain incorporating fashion brands as Armani, Boss, Tom Tailor, Esprit, Jack&Jones, Vero moda, Tally Weijl, Orsay, Bata, etc. He went on to hold the post of Sales Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia. From 2010, he is the founder of the agency PROMO.FIL, based in Croatia and Slovenia, working in the field of sales’ promotion, merchandising and field monitoring.

Goran Temenugov has been in the field of economy for almost 25 years. He began his career in 1995 at the Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) where he worked for 4 years. In 1999 he transferred to Kanal 5 Television where he occupied the post of business journalist at the news department. From 2001 to 2002 he worked at the department of Public affairs programs at Macedonia Daily. He spent a year working at Sky Net Television to make his comeback, in 2003, to MRT where he was employed at the business news department. From 2007 until the present, he works at Alsat.
Throughout his career, in addition to his articles and business programs, he has carried out numerous interviews with governors of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia and ministers from areas that affect the fields of economy and finances. His areas of interest include bankruptcies of state enterprises, policies of the IMF and the World Bank, and the energy sector in the Republic of North Macedonia. Besides reporting on business related topics, he has also reported in times of crisis.

Sergej Zafiroski is the founder and CEO of Insider ID, an agency specialized in quantitative business research and advanced business analytics. In 2007, he began his professional career in the area of distribution of consumer goods. He went on to occupy several different positions in sales and business analytics prior to rebranding his company as a research agency. From December 2018, he holds the post of General Manager at MIT –Faculty of Economics. Over the past few years of the operation of Insider ID, due to the vibrant global trends in the domain of wholesale, the prime focus is oriented towards conception of applicable mathematical models and data analysis. Particularly interesting are the aspects related to customer profiling and the influence of price on customer’s purchase decision. The final goal of these activities is devising a Management control system through the use of advanced and quantitative decision techniques.

Sanja Mihailovska is MSc in Economics (Financial Management). She started her professional career in FMCG-sector in 1994 as a financial analyst. As a result of her 25 years’ experience, the advancement of her professional knowledge and technical skills, as well as her work of various leading positions, she has acquired practical experience in many areas, such as manufacturing, sales and commerce. In the last 9 years she is working in the distribution company Samantha DOO Skopje, of which 5 years as a general manager. Mihailovska is fully committed to optimizing and improving the organizational structure, processes, systems and procedures, i.e. creating more effective and contemporary design of the organization, as a key precondition for the development and growth of sales and improvement of business results.

Xhemail Dauti is a renowned owner, CEO, and president of Dauti Komerc Ltd. He was born in 1962, in Bojane, Skopje. He went to the gymnasium Zef Ljush Marku. In 1985, he graduated from the University of Economics in Skopje, with a major in Macroeconomics. Upon graduating from university until 1990, he was a Member of Parliament in the then Socialist Republic of Macedonia. At the beginning of 1990, he founded an independent business, a firm called Dauti Komerc Ltd, which successfully operates to date. In addition, he is the founder and Honorary President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia. Xhemal Dauti is an active businessman in the whole region. He aspires to achieve continuous modernization and high standards in the domain of the food supply network. His managerial decisions are always based on a detailed market analysis. Furthermore, he advocates transparent market analysis communication for the benefits of society. Xhemal Dauti is the founder of the Albis Foundation. He has received numerous awards in acknowledgement of his work in the business domain as well as in the field of corporate social responsibility. In 2015, he received an official acknowledgement by the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia as a token of the long-established and fruitful cooperation. In the same year, he was decorated with the prestigious European Business Association Award in France.

Tine Kračun is the manager of the Institute for Strategic Solutions, a consulting think-tank that supports and encourages international cooperation to foster sustainable, economic and social development. Under his leadership, the Institute developed several methodologies, which assist international corporations to monitor developments, foresight events and develop solutions to solve challenges.

Sasha Ciric is graduate economist, who began career in the marketing sector of Simex group, where he worked on positioning brands, such as Panon, Higlo, Vrenje and ZlatibO2r water. He moved from Subotica to Belgrade, where he used his experience to strengthen the brands of Frikom’s portfolio. He faces numerous challenges through the successful launch of new and enhanced sales of existing brands, as well through the creation of campaigns that have raised the value of Frikom's brands. All this challenges contributed to his professional development. After 8,5 years at the position of Manager of Marketing and Development in Frikom, he continues his career as an independent consultant who deals with the issues of market positioning, development of new products and brands.

ДDejan Vanevski holds a degree in Economics with a major in Marketing from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Endowed with 16 years’ professional experience in the field of FMCG, he has been responsible for leading numerous teams and businesses belonging to Wirgley and Mars in the course of the last 14 years. He started his career with Wirgley at the position of Sales representative and has since climbed the career ladder within Wirgley and Mars (after the acquisition in 2008). Dejan has launched and developed a great number of projects with key clients in North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. Together with his team, they take great pride in the successful creation and realization of the advanced Front End Checkout solutions in a multitude of market chains in the region. Dejan is a diligent trainer in various sales and negotiation programs at the Mars Company. Throughout the last 10 years, he has successfully managed and participated in significant campaigns and business events related to new brand launches, creation of a project for “Perfect Store” as well as conception of optimization projects for the “Route to Market” process in different countries of the Balkans, the Baltic region and the Adriatic cluster. His greatest achievement is the sales’ rise and expansion of the Mars business and products in the three countries under his direction, guiding his co-workers and business partners to continuously strive for impeccable strategy implementation of the Mars brands (Orbit, Snickers, Twix, M&Ms, Airwaves, Skittles, etc.).
